You won't believe this at first, I know I didn't either, but you really can get a free HDTV, iPhone, Nintendo Wii, MacBook Air or virtually any of the latest gadgets.
The reason this is possible is down to affiliate marketing (when you get paid for passing on customers to a comercial website). The companies which provide you with your free technology get you to complete one of their affiliate marketing links.
This may not actually cost you anything to do, most of these companies have a free DVD offer available. The free DVD offer involves signing up with the DVD rental company, choosing the DVDs you like, then being sent one of them. Once you have watched the DVD and sent it back, you will be credited with completing the offer and it won't have cost you any money.
Unfortunately, the payment the free gift company will receive isn't large enough to pay for your free gift by itself. This is why they need you to refer other people to do an offer aswell. The more people you are able to refer the better the gift you can claim.
The easiest way of refering people is to ask friends and family. They shouldn't be too difficult to persuade, after all who wouldn't want two DVD rentals at no cost.
